ASNE and Missouri J-School Develop Unique Training Resources For High Schools
There are 24 lessons units in six categories developed by faculty members at the Missouri School of Journalism. These six categories are journalism fundamentals, getting started, specialized writing, multimedia, social media, and design & data journalism. Each topic embraces the fundamental journalistic concepts and skills with tutorials, assessment, resources and much more. Hui-Hsien Tsai, instructional designer e-learning specialist, and Amy Simons, associate professor of convergence journalism, molded the materials for the training website. Each of the 24 instructional modules includes:

- Interactive quiz with feedback
- Printed quiz
- Resources recommended by Missouri School of Journalism faculty
- Resources and lesson plans from ASNE
- Lecture script
